The photo was taken in 1969 in Toronto. We were waiting for Jimi at the airport in Toronto when the famous bust went down and were happy to hear the judge’s thoughts on his arrest when he believed Jimi Hendrix had nothing to do with the illegal substance that was planted in his pocket by a ‘super’ fan who mistakenly thought Jimi might enjoy it. One can only wonder what kind of music he would be playing today had he lived.
