During a trip to Barbados, Powell struggled to find the perfect scene for the album artwork. On a return flight stopover in St Lucia, he spotted an ideal bay near the airport. Seizing the moment, Powell dashed across the runway, set up his camera, stepped into the frame, and captured the now-famous image.
