Description
This stunning piece was created in 2011 when on a trip to Mumbai she chanced upon a wonderful 2 mile long wall of graffiti.
Delighted by the discovery
she snapped furiously with her camera from the window of a very bouncy
rickety taxi, returning early the next morning on foot, taking time to
read, admire, absorb and re-take the varied artwork.
She has chosen 24
contrasting images to create this piece and in turn tell the story of
the whole wall; from serious to humorous, from Eastern and Western
messages, from artistic to simple work.
The bottom row of images
show overhead train cables beyond the wall, telling us that the wall
runs parallel to a train track, life goes on all around this work, spot
the gent chilling, watch him watching you …
There’s plenty to see and discover – this piece is timeless.
It’s a delight!
Its rumoured that the wall is now fading, making these prints even more precious.
Limited Edition of 100, signed & embossed, measuring 1m framed.
Printed on Lamba to enhance the wonderful colours.
