Having failed to find the right scene for Bloody Tourists on a trip to Barbados, Powell remembered a perfectly shaped bay by the airport in St Lucia and took the opportunity on his return flight’s stopover to grab his camera, dash across the runway, put himself in the frame and get his shot.
